Building Alternative Revenue Streams in Today’s Marketplace

The Real Estate Solutions Session, set for Wednesday, September 25 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. will be highlighted by two panel sessions and a keynote presentation from Bill Bymel, CEO & Chief Investment Officer of First Lien Capital LP.

A real estate investor and broker for more than 20 years, Bymel currently serves as CEO & Chief Investment Officer of First Lien Capital LP, a privately owned distressed mortgage investment platform he founded in 2021 which owns more 700-plus residential mortgages and REOs in more than 30 states valued at greater than $100 million. With experience in all asset classes of real estate, asset management, portfolio servicing oversight, and mortgage finance, First Lien Capital is shifting paradigms in the industry by establishing new relationships between investors and borrowers through the creation of win-win resolutions to sub-performing, non-performing mortgages on residential and commercial real estate.

Establishing New Streams of Revenue

After Bymel’s keynote, two panel discussions will highlight the session, “Alternative Revenue Streams” and “Build Your Real Estate Empire.”

Among those scheduled to speak at the “Build Your Real Estate Empire” session are Bill Bymel, along with Jim Hastings, President of Hastings Brokerage Ltd. and Rande Johnsen, Director of Trustee Corps.

Hastings is Chairman of the Five Star Institute’s FORCE, and is the Broker of Hastings Brokerage, a Las Vegas real estate firm in existence since 1984 that has specializes in helping mortgage servicers and residential real estate portfolio managers with their complete REO process. He holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate from Arizona State University, and has closed in excess of $1 billion in residential REO. He holds real estate broker licenses held in Nevada, California, Arizona, and formerly Ohio. He has had offices in each state, only operating in Nevada now. He is also the Co-Founder of Broker Brain, a web-based REO management system used throughout country.

Johnsen is a 35-plus years of experience in the foreclosure, trustee, escrow, and title industries. Beginning with flagship company Trustee Corps, which he founded in 1992, his group of businesses includes title and escrow services and has emerged as a leader in the auction sale to service clients in most western United States where non-judicial foreclosures are concerned. His companies’ clients include major government agencies, banks, mortgage loan servicers, and a boutique division that caters to smaller, private lenders and law firms. Johnsen is a native of Southern California and graduated California State University, Long Beach with an undergrad degree in business administration. He spends his time between residences in Newport Beach, California, and Las Vegas.
