Schneiderman & Sherman PC (SSPC), a provider of mortgage and creditor’s rights legal services, has announced their expansion into Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, bringing the total state operations to five, including Michigan and Minnesota.
The latest expansion allows the firm to provide default legal services in both non-judicial and judicial states and also supports its expanding collections practice. A new physical location for Schneiderman & Sherman was established at 409 West 6th Street, Suite 311 in Covington, Kentucky.
Sherman Holdings Group, parent company to Schneiderman & Sherman, has significant experience managing a multi-state footprint as its other subsidiary, Best Homes Title Agency (BHT) has nine offices, and is licensed in 13 states.
Schneiderman & Sherman was founded in 1996, and is headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. SSPC is a member of the Legal League, USFN, and ALFN, and a long-standing advocate for the mortgage servicing community.
Schneiderman & Sherman has also announced the addition of two accomplished attorneys, Christopher Phillips and Lindsay Niehaus Stuart, added to its team of skilled professionals. Both Phillips and Stuart will play pivotal roles in the firm’s newly established Judicial Division, bringing a wealth of legal experience and leadership to the firm’s growing practice areas.
Phillips joins the firm as Senior Managing Attorney and Partner in the Judicial Division. He has been practicing law since 2001, after receiving his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo and his Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. His experience includes 20 years in mortgage default legal services and management including a diverse background in litigation, real estate, creditor’s rights, and bankruptcy.

Stuart joins the firm as the Foreclosure Managing Attorney and Partner in the newly formed Judicial Division. She is a graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and holds an MBA from Northern Kentucky University. She is also a licensed Title Insurance Agent in Ohio and Indiana. Stuart will oversee legal and operational processes in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Her role will focus on providing strategic advice on judicial foreclosures, ensuring efficient case distribution, and managing workloads across multiple jurisdictions.
